Prayer to St. Joseph (by St. Francis de Sales) to provide a solution to the school building and property dilemma: Glorious Saint Joseph, spouse of Mary, grant, we beseech thee, thy paternal protection, through the Heart of Jesus Christ. O thou saint whose infinite power is extended to all our needs, rendering for us possible that which is impossible, look upon the concerns of thy children with thy fatherly countenance. In the troubles and sorrows that afflict us, we have confident recourse to thee. Deign to take under thy loving protection this important and difficult endeavor, the cause of our worries, and dispose its success to the glory of God and to the benefit of His faithful servants. Amen.

Spiritual Communion (by Raphael Cardinal Merry del Val): At Thy feet, O my Jesus, I prostrate myself, and I offer Thee the repentance of my contrite heart, which is humbled in its nothingness and in Thy holy presence. I adore Thee in the Sacrament of Thy love, the ineffable Eucharist. I desire to receive Thee into the poor dwelling that my heart offers Thee. While waiting for the happiness of sacramental Communion, I wish to possess Thee in spirit. Come to me, O my Jesus, since I, for my part, am coming to Thee! May Thy love embrace my whole being in life and in death. I believe in Thee, I hope in Thee, I love Thee. Amen

Weekly Mass Schedule

November 2020: Please use the south (parking lot) entrance only, for both entering and exiting the Church.

SUNDAYS 9:00 AM

(In the Ordinary Form of the Mass – English)

SUNDAYS 11:15 AM

(In the Extraordinary Form of the Mass – Latin)

“The Holy Mass is a prayer itself, even the highest prayer that exists. It is the Sacrifice, dedicated by our Redeemer at the Cross, and repeated every day on the altar. If you wish to hear Mass as it should be heard, you must follow with eye, heart and mouth all that happens at the altar. Further, you must pray with the priest the holy words said by him in the Name of Christ and which Christ says by him. You have to associate your heart with the holy feelings which are contained in these words and in this manner you ought to follow all that happens at the altar. When acting in this way, you have prayed Holy Mass.” – St Pope Pius X

If you need certificates for sacraments received from the former Irondequoit Parishes of St. Thomas the Apostle, St. Salome, St. Cecelia, St. Margaret Mary, or Christ the King, please contact the St. Kateri office.

Weekly Confession Schedule

December 2020: Fr. Helfrich hears confessions before and after the Sunday 11:15am Mass. Please use the south (parking lot) entrance. Father will hear confessions in the north (Colebrook) foyer of the Church. Fr. Bonsignore hears confessions during the same timeframe on all First Sundays in the west (St. Paul) foyer of the Church.

“A soul does not benefit from the sacrament of confession if it is not humble. Pride keeps it in darkness. The soul neither knows how, nor is it willing, to probe with precision the depths of its own misery. It puts on a mask and avoids everything that might bring it recovery.” -Saint Faustina

“Be brave and try to detach your heart from worldly things. Do your utmost to banish darkness from your mind and come to understand what true, selfless piety is. Through confession, endeavor to purify your heart of anything which may still taint it. Enliven your faith, which is essential to understand and achieve piety.” -Saint John Bosco
